Precision CNC Machining Services

CNC Machining for Medical, Semiconductor and Industrial Equipment

Flexcision provides precision CNC machining services for customers requiring tight tolerances, reliable quality control and efficient production from prototype to serial manufacturing.

Our machining department works alongside our sheet metal fabrication department, allowing customers to source complete metal assemblies from a single supplier.

Whether you require precision aluminium components, stainless steel brackets, equipment housings or complex machined parts, we deliver consistent quality supported by documented inspection processes.

Capabilities

CNC Machining Capabilities

CNC machining at Flexcision covers milling, turning and secondary operations within one coordinated manufacturing system. CNC milling runs on 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis equipment for precision components with complex geometries and features. CNC turning covers rotational and cylindrical components according to part geometry and project requirements. 5-axis CNC milling is applied where a part carries features on several faces and reducing repositioning can help maintain dimensional accuracy. The process route for each component is selected according to geometry, material and project requirements.

Secondary Operations

Drilling

Assembly preparation

Secondary operations complete a machined part before inspection or assembly. Drilling, tapping, surface grinding and deburring are carried out as part of the machining process route, with deburring removing the breaks harp edges and burrs left by machining. Whether a part requires secondary operations depends on its drawing, its function and the downstream process it feeds into.

Materials

We machine a wide range of engineering metals

Materials for CNC machining include aluminium alloys 6061-T6 and 7075, stainless steel SUS304 and SUS316, cold-rolled steel and structural steel grades.
Material selection depends on factors such as part function, machinability, tolerance requirements, surface finish and cost, so the intended grade should be specified with the drawing.

Precision and Quality Control

Quality assurance is integrated throughout the manufacturing process

CNC machining tolerances are defined according to part geometry, material and drawing requirements. Critical features can be manufactured to tolerances down to ±0.02 mm where the geometry and machining process allow. Surface finish requirements are controlled according to the customer drawing and project specifications.
Dimensional inspection is carried out using equipment such as CMM and 2D measurement systems, with GD&T and applicable tolerance standards followed according to drawing requirements.
Depending on customer and project requirements, First Article Inspection reports, dimensional inspection reports, material certificates and customer-specific inspection documentation can be provided.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We regularly machine aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel, including 6061-T6 and 7075 aluminium and SUS304 and SUS316 stainless steel. Additional materials can be reviewed based on application requirements.

Standard production tolerance is typically ±0.05 mm. Critical features can be manufactured to ±0.02 mm depending on geometry and inspection requirements.

Yes. Material certificates, First Article Inspection reports and dimensional inspection reports can be supplied according to customer and project requirements.

Yes. We support both prototype development and serial production. Prototype and production parts are quoted and inspected through the same review process.

Machined components and sheet metal parts can be combined into welded andor assembled units, allowing customers to source integrated components and assemblies from one supplier. This can help reduce supplier handovers and simplify project coordination.

Request a CNC Machining Quote

Send us your drawings, 3D models or technical requirements for review.

Our engineering team will evaluate manufacturability, tolerances, materials and inspection requirements before providing a quotation.

A CNC machining quote is prepared on the basis of a drawing review. Drawings, 3D models or technical specifications with tolerances, material and quantity can be submitted for evaluation, and the engineering team reviews manufacturability, fixturing and inspection requirements before quotation. Where a tolerance or feature affects cost or process selection, manufacturing feedback can be provided as part of the review. Prototype quantities and serial production at Flexcision are quoted through the same process, with the production route defined according to the specific part and project requirements.
