Contract Assembly Services

Mechanical, Electromechanical and System-Level Assembly

Flexcision provides contract assembly services for OEM customers across medical, semiconductor and industrial equipment applications.

By integrating fabrication, machining, surface finishing and assembly, we help reduce supplier complexity and improve production consistency.

Assembly services cover the stage where finished parts become a working product: joining, fastening, wiring and testing components against a defined specification. We handle component assembly for individual subassemblies as well as complete system builds, using parts produced on our own fabrication and machining lines or supplied by the customer. Each build follows a documented work instruction and a fixed inspection sequence, which keeps output consistent across repeat orders and across changing production volumes.

SINGLE SOURCE SUPPLY

Reduce Supplier Complexity with One Manufacturing Partner

Managing multiple suppliers for fabrication, machining, finishing and assembly often increases project risk, lead time and quality variation.

Flexcision offers a fully integrated manufacturing solution:

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • CNC Machining
  • Welding
  • Surface Treatment
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Electromechanical Assembly
  • Functional Testing
  • Export Packaging

All manufacturing stages are controlled under a single quality system with complete lot traceability.

This enables customers to work with one qualified supplier instead of coordinating multiple subcontractors.

Shipment

Contract assembly is the final step in a production chain we already control. A part moves from fabrication through surface treatment, assembly and functional testing to shipment without leaving one quality system. This removes the handover points where dimensional and documentation errors usually appear. Customers work with one purchase order, one set of inspection records and one contact for the full build, including when a design revision affects several process steps at once.

SCOPE OF WORK

Mechanical & Electromechanical Assembly Capabilities

Flexcision assembles both mechanical and electromechanical products ranging from small precision subassemblies to large equipment frames.

Mechanical assembly covers bolted, riveted and torque-controlled joints on sheet metal enclosures, machined housings and welded frames, up to equipment enclosures of 2,100 mm. Electromechanical builds add cable harness routing and the installation of motors and actuators. Both run on the same fixtures and the same inspection setup, so a subassembly ordered on its own can later be integrated into a larger system without a change in method or documentation.

Mechanical AssemblyBolted, riveted and precision fastening assemblies
Electromechanical AssemblyCable harness routing, motors and actuators
Multi-Material AssemblyMetal, plastic, die-cast and electronic components
Assembly SizeSmall assemblies up to large equipment enclosures (2,100 mm)
Traceability ManagementFull production and component tracking

For medical device and semiconductor equipment projects, assembly requirements related to cleanliness and particle control are reviewed and managed according to customer specifications. Traceability runs across the whole build: every assembly is linked to its component lots, work instructions and inspection records, so a returned unit can be traced back to the material and the process behind it. Multi-material products combining metal, plastic, die-cast and electronic parts are handled according to defined assembly procedures.

Assembly Services Include

  • Mechanical sub-assembly
  • Complete system assembly
  • Cable harness installation
  • Motor and actuator installation
  • Precision alignment and adjustment
  • Torque-controlled fastening
  • Final packaging and shipment preparation

PROCESS CONTROL

Quality Assurance & Documentation

Quality assurance is integrated throughout the assembly process. Assembly documentation is maintained during the entire build process. Inspection results, component lot information and relevant production records are documented according to project requirements, supporting PPAP submissions, traceability and customer audit needs where applicable. Assembly activities are managed within Flexcision’s certified quality management system, allowing fabrication, machining and assembly to be coordinated through one manufacturing partner.

Why Choose Flexcision

Single Supplier Qualification

Single Point of Responsibility: One supplier for fabrication, machining and assembly.

Reduced Total Cost

Lower sourcing, logistics and supplier management costs.

Faster Project Launch

Integrated manufacturing eliminates coordination delays between suppliers.

Audit-Ready Quality System

ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified operations with PPAP support.

Proven OEM Experience

Production programs delivered for global medical, semiconductor and industrial equipment manufacturers.

Qualifying Flexcision for assembly services means one audit, one quality agreement and one supplier record covering fabrication, machining, welding, surface treatment and final assembly. For programs in medical, semiconductor, industrial automation and aerospace applications, that shortens the qualification cycle and keeps change control in one place. Production programs already run on this basis today, from single subassemblies through to complete equipment frames.
